Garage Doors & Decks

The garage doors were installed yesterday. The grille deck and screened porch were built today. The deck guys are coming back out tomorrow to build the stairs. After the house is painted, the deck guys will come back out and install the screen for the porch. I think the screened porch will be my favorite room in the house!!

Granite is in!!

Granite was installed in the kitchen and bathrooms today. It looks great! Huge thanks to Absolute Stone!!

Updates...

The underground electric was buried yesterday. Today, the trim guys finished up, and the painters continued with the interior walls. The garage doors were installed. Tomorrow, the granite counter tops are being delivered/installed. And we're hoping that the grinder pump will be installed tomorrow as well. Hopefully new pics tomorrow.

Interior Walls are Primed!

Yesterday, the painters came out and primed the interior walls, trim, and ceilings. They primed the walls with the true paint color - light ledge stone - a light beige. The trim will be an egg shell color, and the ceilings will be white. It looks great, so far!
This week, the trim guys are coming out to finish up some closet shelving. Also, painters are coming out to continue with more coats of paint. The granite counter tops will be installed later this week, as well as the tile floors. As for the exterior, we are hoping to have a few loads of dirt delivered to bring up the lost a bit for the driveways. We still need to have the stone veneer put on, as well as have the exterior painted. So much done, yet so much left to do...

Siding is complete

I forgot to post this pic yesterday. The siding is complete. The front just needs a bit of metal roofing, after the siding gets painted (hopefully next week). Also, after the painting is complete, the stone masons will come out and hang the stone veneer across the bottom of the front of the house.

Interior Trim and Doors are In!

Updates, but no pics tonight. There was too much going on today to take pics. Hope to take some either tomorrow or Sunday. Today, the trim guys installed 99% of the interior trim and doors. That includes crown molding, baseboards, cased openings, closet shelves and window casings. They will be back on Monday to finish up the shelves in the pantry. The house is looking more and more like "home" now. Also, the craft room counters were installed today - love them! They are a grayish/black laminate. The painters are coming out tomorrow and priming the interior walls. Bring it on!! :)
